Guided 2-day hike to the Schellenberger ice cave
Price: € 230,00 (Price variant: )
Explore the fascinating Schellenberger ice cave! It is Germany's only tapped ice cave and is located at the east face of the majestic Untersberg.
On the way with a certified mountain guide, you will find out interesting facts and sometimes even curiosities about the Untersberg and its surroundings. After the ascent, which takes around 3.5 hours, you have a well-deserved stop before you descend into the underworld with the cave guide. Inside the cave, which is illuminated with carbide lamps, the path leads to the deeper ice rinks with ice pillars, ice falls and free-standing ice clubs. In the evening there is still enough time for a cozy end in the Toni Lenz hut before the descent into the valley is on the program the next day. For strong hikers there is also the possibility of booking the cave visit as a day tour. (on demand)
