Guided Snowshoe Tour to Mt. Krippenstein

Physical requirements:

The tour will be adjusted to your personal level. Beginners will have no problem. You don't need any previous skills.

Weather:

As soon as there is snow you can snowshoe in any kind of weather. For the tour to Mt. Krippenstein we need good and stable weather conditions - no strong wind or snowfall.

Duration:

Half day: 2-3 hours
Full day: up to 6 hours

Location:

We will snowshoe on beautiful trails on the high plateau of Mt. Dachstein. Meeting point is the car park at the valley station of Krippensteinbahn in Obertraun.

Price information:

The price is valid per person and depends on the duration of the tour (half day or full day). The minimum group size is 3 persons but it's also possible for smaller groups on request.
Road charges or cable car is not included (if required).

Group size:

The minimum of participants is 3 people - smaller groups on request.

Equipment / clothing:

Please bring:

• outdoor clothing according to weather
• gore tex, soft shell or ski jacket
• gore tex, soft shell or ski pants
• gloves and hat
• solid shoes with a good sole, ideally high ankled
• sun glasses and sun protection depending on weather
• drink and lunch
• small backpack with extra layers
