Hot Air Ballooning is an experience of a very special kind. Marvel at the mighty Alps and the lakes in the Salzkammergut area from above and enjoy the fascinating landscape.>p> Ballooning is not just a job but a passion that pilots enjoy sharing with you! Climb into the balloon and feel the fire heat up the balloon shell. Take off and be amazed when the mountain tops slip away underneath. A balloon ride is truly a unique experience. The pilots take part in numerous competitions annually and are very successful (podium finishes at World and European Championships, as well as numerous wins and podium finishes at state championships).
Scope of services:
- hot air balloon ride (approx. 60-90 min up in the air)

- helping to set up and dismantle the balloon
- balloonist "baptism" with sparkling wine and certificate

Physical requirements:
A minimum height of 1.10 meters is required - apart from that, there are no specific requirements.
Important Information:
Please note that we do not provide transportation between accommodation and meeting point of the adventure.
Weather:
Your pilot will call you for the weather check on the day before your booked date.
Duration:
The balloon ride takes approx. 60 - 90 minutes but please plan a full day.

The price is valid per person.
Group size:
4-7 persons can ride together, in case there are more passengers there will be more balloons. If you are a single rider you can join a group.

Equipment / clothing:
Please dress warm, it is 15-20°C cooler up in the air.
Availability:
April until the end of November - during the winter season it is often foggy and therefore not ideal.
Start times vary depending on the length of the day: either in the early morning around sunrise or approx. 3 hours before sunset (we recommend to take the early morning). Due to the thermals, hot air ballon rides are not possible during the day.
