Hoher Göll via Mannlgrat

**The ascent of the Hoher Göll (2,522 m) via the famous Mannlgrat ridge is undoubtedly one of the showpiece tours in the Berchtesgaden Alps. The path along the exposed ridge leads us through varied rocky terrain, featuring exciting climbing sections up to difficulty grade I (UIAA).** As we move along this historic route, we are treated to fascinating views of the rugged cliffs of the Göll East Face. The crossing requires full concentration but constantly rewards us with the raw beauty of the alpine limestone. Once at the top, we are rewarded with a breathtaking panoramic view of the Salzburg region and the Berchtesgaden basin. The descent takes us via the Purtschellerhaus, where we can end the tour with a cozy stop for refreshments and enjoy the view of the impressive massif one last time in peace.
