Join us for an adventure on the Grünstein! We meet at the Explorer Hotel in Schönau am Königssee, where we check our equipment before hiking to the start of the Isidor via ferrata. This route is rated B/C and leads steadily upwards via exciting climbing sections and a suspension bridge. Your efforts will be rewarded with incomparable views of the Watzmann massif and Lake Königssee. After a break at the summit, the path leads down to the Grünstein hut, where we can end the day with a traditional Bavarian snack. Finally, we descend back into the valley to our original starting point.
Requirements: Sure-footedness is required for the steep walking terrain near the exit and during the descent

Fitness level: Moderate (covering approx. 600 vertical meters).
Hiking time: Approx. 5 hours of walking time.

The course takes place with a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 6 participants; if the minimum number is not reached, the tour will be canceled 2 days in advance.

Please bring: Mountain boots, a backpack (25–30 l), Gore-Tex and insulation jacket, functional shirt, change of clothes, beanie, sunglasses, sunscreen, gloves, at least 1.5 l of drinks, snacks, a first-aid kit, blister pads, and personal medication
