What used to be woven from hazel or willow wood and covered with leather straps - today snowshoes are made of aluminum and lightweight materials. In this walk through the beautiful nature you can enjoy the quiet winter landscape at its best. Welcome to a Salzburg winter adventure.

The tour will be adjusted to you personal level. Beginners will have no problem. You dont need any previous skills.

Snow is naturally required for snowshoeing ;-)
As soon as there is snow, this sport is almost always possible.

Location:
Depending on the snow, you usually start in Abtenau, alternatively in Lungötz or surrounding areas, if the snow is better there.
